ALL the hard work put in during the pandemic and following the return to full training is paying off for St Helens Swimming Club.
On Sunday a number of members travelled to Trafford Metro and produced some outstanding performances with a plethora of Personal Best times.
Alicia Ashton led the way with gold in the 50m Breaststroke and silver in the 100m Breaststroke.
Joshua Barker was another gold medal winner, in the 100m Butterfly and he also took bronze in the 100m Backstroke.
Hayden Battle returned home with three silvers and a bronze, whilst Jaxon Pullen, Oliver Crosby and Shreyas Mishra all picked up silver medals.
Ella Whittle and Sam Haraben also produced some fantastic performances, with the 200m Medley Relay team picking up the bronze medal.
It is just reward for all the effort over the last two and a half years, not only with managing the COVID measures but also having to travel to Kirkby to train due to lack facilities in the town.
