SAINTS have asked fans to arrive at the ground early and cheer the players’ entrance ahead of Good Friday’s huge clash against Wigan.

Although the game only kicks off at 3pm, the team will be walking across to the stadium at approximately 1.10pm to take in the pre-match atmosphere.

And the club have requested as many fans as possible arrive on site to welcome the team into the stadium and build the atmosphere pre-match.

The turnstiles will open at 1.15pm, the RedV Bar will be open from 11am.

And there will be activity in the fans area opposite the Saints Superstore from 12pm.

Head Coach Paul Wellens has issued a rallying cry in asking as many fans as possible to arrive at the stadium early to welcome the lads.

He said: “As a club we want to make it a really special atmosphere for you all.

“On Friday we will be arriving as one as a team at 10 past 1 through the main players entrance.

“It would be great to see as many of you as possible to make some noise it a special occasions for our players.

“And hopefully we can translate that on to the field and give you what you deserve as well.

“Rest assured we’ll do all that we can to make it a positive day.”
