Budgie (real name Peter Clark)
Before joining punk band Siouxsie and the Banshees in 1979, Budgie played drums for Big in Japan and the Slits. In 1991, Budgie married Banshees lead singer Siouxsie Sioux. Five years later the couple disbanded the Banshees to concentrate on their other project The Creatures. Speaking exclusively to This Is St Helens, Budgie said: "St Helens gave me a good starting point in life. I'll always have a soft spot for the town and the rugby there. I get excited when Saints win but everytime I start supporting them, they keep losing."

Matt Bailey
This Moss Bank actor can be spotted in the latest Bacardi ad and is also appearing in teen soap Hollyoaks.
Carley Stenson
The St Helens-born actress is one of the stars of teen soap Hollyoaks. Twenty one-year-old Carley, who plays feisty Steph Dean in the popular soap has been singing and dancing from an early age. A veteran of several theatre productions, Hollyoaks is her first TV role.
Jon Ashton
Chef Jon and wife Mary packed their bags and swapped Haydock for Florida back in 1997. Now Jon is a celebrity cook on US TV, whipping up dishes for big name celebrities like N*Sync and the cast of Friends. Jon, who studied cookery at St Helens College, is known as the 'Mad Chef' and has recently recorded ten national shows for Walt Disney World.
Jacqui Abbot
In 1994 Jacqui ditched her job as a supermarket shelf-stacker to join pop group The Beautiful South. Lead singer Paul Heaton remembered her voice after hearing her sing at an after show party in her native St Helens and asked her to join the band to replace vocalist Briana Corrigan. Jaqui's hits with the band included chart smash Everybody's Talking.
