Postie on the move

A POST office in Haydock will be on the move in October - but not very far.

Following a period of public consultation, Post Office Ltd. has confirmed its intention to relocate Penny Lane Post Office from 13 Penny Lane to 144/146 Church Road, about 700 yards away.

The branch, which will be re-named New Boston Post Office, will close at 5.30pm on Monday, September 25, and re-open in its new home at 9am on Monday, October 2.

During the short break in service, people will be advised to use Clipsley Lane Post Office or any branch.
