Striker Adam Morris got them on track with his two goals and Peter McNally added the other in a 3-1 win at Wood Lane over neighbours Prescot Leisure, for whom Alan Platt scored. Top Nogs, Division One runners up opened their Premiership campaign with a deserved 2-1 win at Dentons Green.
